Gurò sas was born from the extraordinary professional intuition of Dr. Gualtieri Rosa; in fact, the name of the company originates from the initials of the founder's surname and name.
It was the year 1985 when Dr. Gualtieri, having just graduated from the faculty of pharmacy at the University of Catania, decided to specialize in cosmetology.
At the beginning of the 90s, the company took its first steps in cosmetics; the production investments and the distribution network across the country were exciting challenges that allowed the company to strengthen and implement important know-how both in the development of chemical formulations and in production processes.
It was the year 1985 when Dr. Gualtieri, having just graduated from the faculty of pharmacy at the University of Catania, decided to specialize in cosmetology.
At the beginning of the 90s, the company took its first steps in cosmetics; the production investments and the distribution network across the country were exciting challenges that allowed the company to strengthen and implement important know-how both in the development of chemical formulations and in production processes.
In 1997 the company experienced an important phase of growth, embracing the medical sector; in a few years, thanks to important partnerships with university polydiagnostic centers affiliated with the Italian and European national health system, it established itself in the chemical formulation and production of medical devices; in particular gels and pastes for electromedical equipment for ECO-ECG-EEG - EMG - EP - DOPPLIER diagnostics.
The company proudly embodies the "made in Italy" by demonstrating reliability, competence and quality at the service of its partners and customers.
Gurò sas bases its corporate policy on the principles of sustainability and circularity; has always been committed to the research and use of raw materials extracted and processed according to the most rigorous international protocols for the protection of the environment, against discrimination and the exploitation of child labor.
